uhoo!
wad a chilly day..n my heater died, bt came alive an hour later, phew!i was so panicked and worried jus now when it suddenly stopped paeing, thinking that i would be freezing to death tnite, n wun be able to sleep at all.i knew sth was wrong when i switched on, when i came back frm sch jus nw, it was paeing so loudly, like some drilling noise, n sound like gg to explode, then all of a sudden it died. bt LUCKILY i tried switching on again aftr an hr latr, and miraculously it was all good again. so lousy. i feel that its gg to die on me anytime soon, so im gg to get a new one pretty soon, in case it dies again n i would be left in the cold, becum abominable snowman.
tday's a rainy day, n the wind isnt too strong, so i used my brolly as i dun wan to walk in the rain, still gt flu, realise that my flu cums back when its rainy, subsides when its nt. n i took bus tday oso, to n fro. cos dun wan to walk in the rain n get my shoes wet. so lazy hor..too barrd. tday's pract quite easy, bt boring too. measure the ammonia and urea content in animal urine samples, gt goldfish, turtle, frog, tadpole and mouse urine. add reagents, incubate in watr bath only, n calculations, so boring, bt v easy to do.. then we gt use this micropipette to take up samples of 200 micro-litres ma, n my lab partners DIDNT USE a micropipette before in their life!! im a bit surprised, cos i tot every science student should be DAMN FAMILIAR with using these kind of things, its like INDISPENSIBLE in every science experiment, n they are seeing them for the first time. so weird.. n even weirder, they dunno wad's a PARAFILM and nv use it b4. they are FASCINATED with the water bath n spectrophotometer too! such weird science students, n one of them is a singaporean, tot she shld hve been exposed to these basic lab equipments in her jc or sec sch?? she looks like she hv nv stepped into a science lab b4, hw can it be, esp she's been studying in sg n given that our schs gt so many lab experiments.. im suspecting she might not even be a science student b4 this. bt if she isnt, den even weirder for a non-science student to be studying zoology all of a sudden leh.. SO FREAKY!
this morning i had mouthfuls of tiramisu cream n sticky date cake(tho i was eating the caramel sauce on top more than the cake) n a frozen blackcurrant jelly cup for breakfast! wa, the frozen jelly was farntarstic.gg to buy more n freeze them. sor sor jelly, cooling n nt too sweet like ice cream or sorbet, n lower in calories too. good alternative:) heh hehs. been eating lesser breads alr, cos sian of it..like a transition period to some other food sources.
u so inactive leh..at least post sth to lemme noe im nt the one droning on n on, nobody chups lidat. so sian:(
suddenly feel like eating desserts, ice kacang, red bean paste, green bean soup, gui ling gao, ice jelly, chin chows... wow...yum...my brain is occupied with my fav sg food images ALL THE TIME..
