Tau hin hins n feeling so sickly tday.. been tired all day, my body like developing feverish aches, n im sleepy all day. a bit soar throat too, i think i might have caught a chill, of developing a fever soon. just now dropped by at the grocery store wanted to grab some medicine but in the end FORGOT. bot banana chips n  a rhubarb n ginger dip thing, actually realised i forgt to buy medicine only after i gt hme. so sad, wanted to eat med n sleep, see wil recover or nt. lousy, tmr must remember to buy.

today is so cold again.. i wasnt wearing my overcoat cos i didnt feel like to, so i wore triple layers of clothing, bt it didnt help much, cos it was raining jus now when i walked hme frm sch, luckily i brought my hat wif me so i wore my hat to shield my face against the rain, bt the winds was SO CHILLY, i was so frosty.

did i mention that im gg to climb the mt wellington nxt monday?? waoh, bet it will be freezing up dere, hope i wun die up dere. mt wellington is a famous landmark in tasmania, n its a great place to see tas vegetation n trees, so shld be learning a great deal of stuffs, hopefully, if i managed to stay warm n functional during my time up dere..the lecturer even instruct us to wear raincoats n hiking boots, even joked that NO STILETTO HEELS.hahars, wth, who wld wear heels to climb mountain, bt i dun have any sensible footwear besides the black sneakers i showed u dat day leh..looks like i may get a pair of better footwear n a windbreaker n really thick n warm winter coat on my sat shopping trip. too barrd, have to spend money again, to buy these, cos cant possibly go up in ballet flats n thin casual wear wad.. prob bring umbrella too.. these few days are so rainy...

today's so fun! there's a trip to the animal enclosures in the uni, to look at the blue tongued lizards, cos we are using the data collected from them by my animal bio lecturers, to use them to write a scientific journal. so ya, supposed to let us see how they are kept n to interact with them, know more about them, to help us write the report.. Haha, wad an interesting enclosure, its not like the cages u wld hv imagined, its like a fence around a forested area,within the fence, its separated into 3 different sections, n several individual housings n cages for diff animals. the animals are only held captive there if they were to be used in a research, n its kept as natural and similar to their natural habitat as possible. so its like a fenced up area in a forest. bt there wasnt any other animals kept there for research when i was dere tday, i saw a kangaroo sitting in a corner though..haha! 

den we were brought to this sort of animal house, inside gt a row of huge lifesize cages, with metal wire doors, n each huge cage housed 15 of that lizards! initially i tot it should be quite small, bt alas! it was rather big! i even got the chance to HOLD N CARRY IT IN MY HANDS! its so cold n hard, it wasnt scaly to touch, the skin was smooth n leathery, haha, so fun to carry it! its so ADORABLE n TAMED.. n its looks very friendly! such an interesting animal, makes me feel the urge to buy a pet reptile!!!

its so fun over here, there are so many researches on tasmanian animals, i feel so glad that ive chosen the right course for myself! its like such a good opportunity to study zoology here, cos the lecturers are zoologists n researches themselves, n i get to interact n see s many interesting animals n specimens which i wld neva hve the chance to in sg.. tday i saw a poster at the school of zoology that the lecturers are looking for volounteers to help in their possum research. possums are australian mammals, bt i have neva seen them b4, maybe u can google for its pic..its a 5days4nites trip in the forests to track  n spot possums, take their blood samples for some research thing, so basically  its a rare chance to experience wads its like to be hunting for real animals in the wild n do real animal research! sounds so fun, a bit tempted to join, bt its in the exam period leh.. hmm...bt i bet it will be so fun to camp out at the forest n get in touch with the wild animals n nature,  just like wad we saw in the arts central animal documentaries.. haha!

i think i will be turning in at 9pm tday.. cos im really feeling damn lethargic. tmr need to wake up at 630 for 9am class..so tired...lousy.. n my room is so chilly rite now. mimi isnt active these days, must be too cold for her to cum out n play, she must be making herself warm in her little

 nest..haha..

hmm.. k lah, shall stop here for tday, gg to play a bit of ds nw.. haha,, so slacky, dun really gt the mood for hws rite now.. ba bye!!
