Pi Langs.
eee.. actually dun wanna update one..cos realised dat ive been the only one whos contributing to this blog. aniway, wan to show u pics so sun bian lor. bt this sucks, hw cum i tried two times alr n still my pics cant be uploaded.. wad lousy internet connection, im suspecting that leo didnt pay internet fee for this mth or he has secretly downgraded to some ch
eaper n lousier plans while still collecting the same amt from me, pocketing the money. i have such a bad impression of him that i always have this kind of negative thoughts associated with him, he's a really lousy untrustworthy chap.
aniway, i dreamt of arh gongs last nite!! arh mars n wai po appeared too! this is the FIRST TIME this three langs appeared in my dream! n for the first time, they are doing sth together in my fream, i cant recall wad they r doing, bt its so STRANGE that suddenly the three gramps hacked into my dream, this is so unexpected. esp i dun ever dream of arh gongs when he's alive. maybe he's trying to tell me sth in my dream, i dunno.. cos i cant remember the dream alr.
past few days suddenly started playing neopets games, while waiting for my wo cai to load at CRIPPLED SNAIL SPEED. its so terrible. i was so slack from mon to fri, doing nth bt gg to sch n playing neopets n watching shan bao n lqh in sch. ya, been gg early b4 lessons, just to catch the buses n watch dramas in sch. wad a joke.
n speaking of buses! time schedules for the bus to my hse changed alr! getting so erratic n the bus drivers have a habit of nt stopping altho i flagged the bus! like im transparent lidat, so walked a lot during the week, no choice:( especially with the operation of the new UNIBUS 888, whenever it arrives and stops at the bus stop, n its always exactly at the time when my bus IS SUPPOSED TO ARRIVE TOO, then my bus always cum AFTER the uni bus, at the same time, then when it sees the uni bus stopping at the bus stand, IT WILL NOT STOP FOR ME TO
BOARD! wth!!! although i already FLAGGED N WAVED N SWINGED MY ARMS SO WILDLY IN THE AIR N JUMPING TO MAKE MYSELF NOTICED, signaling for it to stop, bus driver wld simply IGNORE ME TOTALLY n drove past. i look like a silly madman flailing my arms n yet he dun wan to let me board the bus. all bcos of the stupid uni bus, i bet he thinks i shld take the unibus, but im NOT GG TO TOWN! N UNIBUS DUN TRAVEL PAST MY HOUSE! (unibus just started operating this monday, plying betwn town n sch) so shitty that theres only 1 perthatics bus to my hse, while there are tonnes of them going to town n sandy bay, everywhere except dynnyrne.
dis morning wasnt hungry at all.. no mood for ice cream or anything, bt chanced upon this cafe accidentally, n saw on the menu there's bake
d apple n rhubarb muffin with cinnamon crumbles served with double cream n homemade jam. sounds rather delicious, so i decided to give it a try.. then when i walked in, i noticed a display of whole cakes behind the glass fridge windows, i wanted to look at the cakes bt this waiter came to me n was so eager to usher me to a seat, so i hadnt had a chance to look at the pretty n delicious looking cakes:( aftr i sat dwn at my table, i was compelled to wlk to the cakes there to see wad r they n maybe have a slice of one of them, bt i felt it wld look to freaky of me, n i wasnt in the mood to attract glares frm pple today, so i opted for the muffin lor, n a hot choc. food came shortly aftrwards. bt yucks! y they dun giv marshmallows for my hot choc wan??? supposed to cum with it wad.. bt the white leaf foam was rather nice, so i forgot abt the marshmallow alr.. taste quite bland, nt aromatic like the ones ive had before in other cafes. nt satisfied with it:( den came the muffin, which u see in the pic. dosent look wad i i've pictured in my mind leh.. looks rather measely n the muffin sure dun looks inviting at all. THE PRESENTATION IS JUST WRONG. since its a muffin dish, the muffin should STAND OUT bt somehow the muffin dun stand out, the presentation is cluttered, esp the two pots of cream n jam seems to steal the limelight, n the random sugar powder dusting makes the whole thing messy. from the look of it, im alr doubting it will taste anithing near fantastic.
wheres the cinnamon crumbles?? looks like melted aftr it was warmed up in the microwave. just dun like eating microwaved food in a cafe or anywhere else. shld be baked fresh! i can microwave food myself at hme for goodness sake. den wheres the rhubarb n apple??? dun see any apple at all. n dose pink dry tasteless strands, r they supposed to be rhubarbs?? im expecting fleshy apples and rhubarbs compotes embedded in the muffin, moist n succulent, juices seeping into the cake around it. bt the cake is chewy n bland,n the dried strands were horrible too. if it wasnt for the double cream n jam, i wldnt be eating it all. its only palatable with the cream n jam, they becum the main focus of the dish.
n GASP! i found a strand of gor maos in embedded in the cream! was quite grossed out, it onky appeared aftr im halfway thru, den i politely showed the waitress, n she blatently said: oh really, iill tell the kitchen abt it. n no news of it thereaftr. then i went to pay, and looked at the cakes, theres tiramisu, baileys n banana bread n butter pudding(wow my fav!) n a raspberry tart thing n choc cake i think. n i asked to take the bread butter pudding to be tar paued, bt the lady told me they DUN DO TAKEAWAYS! wad lousy service n attitude n food they have! if im a food critic, i wld give this cafe a 1/5 n that 1 is solely for the nice ambience n tasty looks of the food. food sucks. although the tiramisu sure looks delicious, cos gt sponge fingers one, bt im afraid it might be another case of look good taste horrible (ho kua bo ho chia).
oh im gg to have a bout of lao sais now. continue latr. oops! stink up the whole toilet n the area within 100m of it again.so paiseh.bt lately a lot of stinky lao sais.
